Pokémon that actually
go into Pokémon HOME

Add HOME Compatible to any Pokémon and yours is built and verified so Pokémon HOME accepts it — tested on real consoles before it is ever sold. Deposit it, keep it in your collection, move it on to your other games.

Available on 2,100+ Pokémon across Scarlet & Violet, Sword & Shield and Legends: Z-A · traded to you in about two minutes, 24/7

The problem, honestly

Ever had HOME just refuse a Pokémon?

You bought a Pokémon online, went to deposit it into Pokémon HOME, and HOME simply would not take it. No explanation, no second chance — and the natural conclusion is that you were sold something fake.

Here is what is actually going on: ordinary generated Pokémon often cannot enter HOME at all. HOME runs its own entry checks, stricter than the games themselves, and a Pokémon that behaves perfectly in-game can still be turned away at the door. That is true of most generated Pokémon — and it was true of our ordinary line too. It is exactly why we built this option.

Three steps

How HOME Compatible works

01

Pick any Pokémon

Ready-made shiny, 6IV or legendary, or spec your own from scratch — the option sits on the product page next to Premade and Custom Build.

02

Choose HOME Compatible (+$3)

That switches the build to one we have verified HOME accepts. Everything else about your order works exactly the same way.

03

Trade, then deposit

Your Link Trade code appears the moment you pay. Collect it in-game, then deposit to HOME and move it wherever you like.

What “verified” means

We deposit into Pokémon HOME on real consoles to confirm acceptance — same species, same process — before the build is ever sold. Not a claim on a product page: an actual transfer, actually completed.

Quick answers

HOME questions

What does HOME Compatible actually mean?

The Pokémon you receive has been built and verified so Pokémon HOME accepts it. Ordinary generated Pokémon — ours included — often cannot be deposited into HOME at all.

How do you know it works?

We test acceptance by depositing into Pokémon HOME on real consoles, same species and same process, before it is sold.

Does it work with my HOME account?

Yes — any HOME account. Trade it to your game, then deposit it like any other Pokémon. It works with both the Switch app and the mobile app.

Why do some Pokémon look different inside HOME?

A few Pokémon hold an item that sets their form — Origin Giratina, Arceus plates, Ogerpon masks. HOME stores held items separately, so inside HOME they show their base form, exactly like a genuine one, and regain their form in-game with the item.

Why isn’t the option on every product?

A tiny number of Pokémon cannot be made HOME compatible at all, so the option simply does not appear on those.

What if HOME still won’t take it?

Contact us with your order number and we will look into it from our side. HOME also runs a duplicate check — if it believes an identical Pokémon already exists it refuses the transfer with a “duplicated” message, which is worth ruling out first.
